The basic method is to use FTP or File Transfer Protocol. It is best to use this feature when you have finished building your pages, because it is slower then using an FTP program. Just follow these steps explained below. This information is only valid for Cybhosting customers.

1. The first step is to make sure you are connected. This can be done via a local ISP in your area.

2. Open your internet browser (for example: "Internet Explorer").

3. Locate the Address Bar and type in "ftp://" followed by the username, name of your domain name and directory.
(for example: "ftp://yourusername@mywebsite.com/../../web/").

4. Wait..., you will be prompted with a box asking for your password.

5. Fill in your password provided by your Web Hosting Provider (Cybhosting.com) and press "Login". Note: The password is the one you provided when registering a hosting plan with Cybhosting.com

6. Wait again, and you will see your directory where you can upload your pages. (If this is the first time you will see a page called (index.htm).

7. Make sure you delete this page and replace it with your index page (An index page means the first page of your web site, you must call this file one of the following: index.html, index.htm, index.php etc...).

8. You must use the "copy" and "paste" commands in order to place a file in your ftp directory.
